RETURNS AND REFUNDS

Online purchases – 14-day right of withdrawal
When you buy from our online store, you have the right to withdraw from your purchase within 14 days of the day you receive your item, without giving a reason, in accordance with the Icelandic Consumer Contracts Act no. 16/2016.

How to return an item
1. Email us at fridaskart@fridaskart.is within 14 days of receiving your item. Please include your order number and the item(s) you wish to return.
2. Send the item back to us within 14 days of notifying us, to:
   FríðaSkart, Skólavörðustígur 18, 101 Reykjavík, Iceland
3. Customers in Iceland are also welcome to return items in person at our store.

You are responsible for the cost of return shipping. Please pack the item carefully. The item should be unused and returned in its original packaging. You may be liable for any loss in value caused by handling the item beyond what is necessary to examine it.

Refunds
We will refund the full purchase price, including the original shipping cost (up to the cost of our standard shipping option), no later than 14 days after you notify us of your withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until we have received the item back or you have provided proof that it has been sent. Refunds are made to your original payment method.

Exceptions
The right of withdrawal does not apply to items made to your specifications, such as custom-made pieces, rings made in a size we do not usually stock, or items engraved or personalised at your request.

In-store purchases
Items bought in our store may be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days of purchase, provided the item is unused and you present the receipt or a gift receipt. In-store purchases are not refunded.

Ring resizing
One ring resizing is included free of charge if requested within 30 days of purchase. If you send your ring to us by mail for resizing, you cover the shipping cost.

Faulty items
If an item turns out to be faulty, you are entitled to a remedy under the Icelandic Consumer Sales Act no. 48/2003. Our liability for defects lasts 2 years from delivery, or up to 5 years for items intended to last substantially longer. Please contact us as soon as possible if you discover a fault.

Disputes
If we cannot resolve an issue together, you may contact the Complaints Committee for Consumer Sales and Services (Kærunefnd vöru- og þjónustukaupa), www.kvth.is, Borgartún 29, 105 Reykjavík, Iceland.
