What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards for online orders. If you shop in our store, we accept all forms of payment.

What are your store's opening hours?
We are open Monday through Friday 11:00 - 17:00 and Saturdays 11:00 - 16:00. We have varying hours during holidays. Our holiday hours can be found here.

Where is your jewelry made?
Our jewelry is made in our workshop in Reykjavík, Iceland. Fríða designs all her collections and pieces using inspirations she finds in and around Iceland.

I do not see my size listed; can I still order? 
If you do not see your ring size listed in our drop-down menu, please let us know! It's no problem to make any piece in your correct size. 

I saw an item while visiting your store, but I cannot find it in your online shop. Is it possible to order it?
Yes, of course! We try our best to keep all of our products listed in our online store, but sometimes we get a little behind. If you saw a piece that you loved while you were visiting our store, please use our "Contact Us" form or send an email to fridaskart@fridaskart.is to send us a message regarding that particular item.  A photo of the piece would be a great help, but a short description works too, and we'll try to find it together.

How can I properly care for my jewelry?
Silver: Over time, your silver pieces will tarnish. It is recommended to avoid wearing your pieces in the shower, at the beach, in the pool, or while working on projects that may require heavy lifting and put strain on your pieces. When your pieces have tarnished, we recommend a few options:

• - Natural solution: Line a bowl with aluminum foil, shiny side up. Add one tablespoon of baking soda per cup of hot (not boiling) water and stir until dissolved. Place your silver in the bowl so that it touches the foil, and leave it for a few minutes until the tarnish lifts. Rinse in clean water and dry gently with a soft cloth. Please note that this method also removes oxidation, so it should not be used on oxidized pieces. We also do not recommend it for pieces with natural stones.
  - Silver cleaning solution: You can also dip your pieces in a silver cleaning solution. 

Oxidized silver: Over time, your oxidized silver pieces will gradually brighten. Oxidation is a surface treatment, so the raised edges lighten as they rub against your skin. Many of our customers love this, as it gives the pieces a beautiful antique look. If you prefer to keep them dark, any jeweler can re-oxidize them for a small fee.

Gold: As with silver, we recommend taking off your gold pieces before showering, swimming, going to the beach, working out, or lifting anything heavy. With everyday wear, gold may become slightly matte or pick up small scratches. A professional polish will make it shine like new again.

What materials do you use in your jewelry?
We use 925 sterling silver and 14k gold (585). We use a variety of stones in many of our pieces, including natural stones (topaz, quartz, amethyst, and diamonds) and cubic zirconia. We only use diamonds, colored diamonds, and natural stones in our gold pieces. Most of our silver pieces feature cubic zirconia, while some have natural stones.  

Do I have to pay import duties?
It is a possibility that your order may incur import taxes by customs in your country. Most countries have a duty-free limit for imported products, but you must look up the rules in your country to be sure. 

What's your return or exchange policy?
For online purchases, you have 14 days from receiving your item to return it for a full refund. Items bought in our store can be exchanged or returned for store credit within 14 days. You can read the full details in our Refund Policy: https://fridaskart.is/policies/refund-policy

Can I pick up my online order in your store?
Absolutely! During checkout, choose "in-store pickup" for your shipping method. We will send an email or text confirmation when your order is ready for pickup.
