How can I properly care for my jewelry?
Silver: Over time, your silver pieces will tarnish. It is recommended to avoid wearing your pieces in the shower, at the beach, in the pool, and while working on projects that may require heavy lifting and put strain on your pieces. When your pieces have tarnished, we recommend a few options:

  • Natural solutions: You can place your silver in a baking soda bath and something about aluminum foil need to explain this better. You can check out our detailed blog on the topic "here"!
  • Purchase a silver cleaning solution to dip your pieces into. We recommend the Sambol brand. We use this product and have it for sale in-store, but you can also purchase similar products in your local grocery store usually.

Oxidated Silver: With time, your oxidated silver pieces will brighten. As your pieces rub against your skin, the outermost edges of your pieces will lose some of their oxidation as this is just a surface treatment. Most of our customers prefer this to happen, as it gives the pieces a beautiful antique quality, but you can always have your pieces re-oxidated for a small cost at your local jewelers to maintain the pieces darkness.

Gold: As with silver, we recommend to avoid wearing your pieces in the shower, pool, or at the beach and taking them off while at the gym or doing heavy lifting to protect them from the elements. With time, you may find that your gold has become a bit matte or have some scratches from every day wear and tear. If so, it is always an option to have your pieces polished to make them shiny and new again!

What materials do you use in your jewelry?
We use 925 sterling silver and 14k gold (585). We use a variety of stones in many of our pieces, including natural stones (topas, quartz, amethyst, and diamonds) and cubic zirconia. We only use diamonds, colored diamonds and natural stones in our gold pieces. Most of our silver pieces feature cubic zirconia, while some have have natural stones.

Do I have to pay import duties?
It is a possibility that your order may incur import taxes by customs in your country. Most countries have a duty-free limit for imported products, but it is important that you look up the rules in your country to be sure.
