CELTS & KINGS

The Celts & Kings collection is inspired by old artifacts that have been found in Iceland. Fríða based the collection on two brooches, the Nordic Tongue Brooch & the Celtic Three-Armed Brooch, which were found in old pagan graves and are about 1,000 years old. The next addition to the collection is the Comb, which was an artifact that inspired Fríða through visions of early Icelandic women using their combs to have a moment of self-care and, perhaps, to get lost in their own day-dreams. The entire collection plays with Icelandic heritage and history by joining these artifacts with modern-day jewelry.
